Check your barbershop website

These ten checks are useful even when Buzz has filled in the details for you.

  1. Open your site on a phone

Check the approved look, photos and buttons. If anything is wrong, tell Buzz before sharing the link.

  2. Check your web address

Confirm the live link shown under Web address in your console. If you own the domain, follow the DNS records there; Buzz checks them automatically.

  3. Check your shop details

Confirm your shop name, phone, address, welcome text and social links. Test the call and directions buttons on your site.

  4. Confirm your opening hours

These appear on your site and control booking availability if you turn bookings on.

  5. Confirm services and prices

Check every menu item, price, category and description before customers rely on them.

  6. Check your team

Review barber names and photos. Add each barber’s own email if they need access to shop tools.

  7. Check your images and logo

Review the hero, gallery and logo. Replace stock images or add your own where you want to.

  8. Check reviews and Google listing

Review the quotes shown on your site and connect the correct Google listing where available.

  9. Try the site chat

Ask a real customer question about hours, prices or location. Tell Buzz if the answer needs correcting.

  10. Review your plan

Check your plan and billing details. If you are on a free trial, check when it ends and that your card is up to date to keep the site online.

Set up online bookings for your barbershop

You can accept bookings without Stripe Connect when customers pay in the shop. Connect Stripe only if you want online card payments, deposits or a saved card.

  1. Choose how customers pay

Select Pay in the shop, no card to take bookings without online payment, or connect Stripe for card payments.

  2. Set booking rules

Choose bookable services, durations, notice, capacity or barbers, cancellation rules, extras and any closed dates. Then switch Accept online bookings on.

  3. Make one test booking

Book from your live site, check the confirmation and owner notification, then cancel the test booking.

Walk-in queue, cut photos and other Buzz tools

Choose only what suits your shop. In the console you can mark the rest “Not using”.

  1. Set up the walk-in queue

Choose your staff and queue rules, then try the customer join page and staff board on the devices you will use.

  2. Set up cut photos

Turn on photo capture, choose whether cuts need approval and try one photo with the customer’s consent.

  3. Connect Telegram

Link your shop if you want chat escalations and cut approval alerts on your phone.

  4. Connect Instagram, where available

Connect a Business or Creator account if you want its posts displayed on your site.

  5. Bring over your client list

Use the import preview first if you have a CSV from another booking system.
